I have heard that ancient Vedic people/monks were all left-handed.
    Ancient scriptures are right-to-left.
    What have you heard?

Do right-handed people pull Vedic deamons when using the right hand to write from left to the right?
Sukha Deamon (pleasure [right brain hemisphere])

Did left-handed people write in Right to Left (RTL) style?

    Excerpt list of RTL scriptures:
    โ€ข Indus script
    โ€ข Egyptian hieroglyphs
โ€ข Cypriot syllabary (Cprt 403) โ€“ predates Phoenician influence.
โ€ข Phoenician alphabet (Phnx 115) โ€“ ancient, precursor to Hebrew, Imperial Aramaic, and Greek.
โ€ข Imperial Aramaic alphabet (Armi 124) โ€“ ancient, closely related to Hebrew and Phoenician. Spread widely by the Neo-Assyrian and Achaemenid empires. The later Palmyrene form (Palm 126) was also used to write Aramaic.
โ€ข Avestan alphabet (Avst 134) โ€“ from Pahlavi, with added letters. Used for recording the Zoroastrian sacred texts during the Sassanid era.
โ€ข Old Turkic runes (also called Orkhon runes Orkh 175)
โ€ข Old Hungarian runes (Hung 176).
โ€ข Old Italic alphabets (Ital 210) โ€“ Early Etruscan was RTL but LTR examples later became more common. Umbrian, Oscan, and Faliscan were written right-to-left. Unicode treats Old Italic as left-to-right, to match modern usage. Some texts are boustrophedon.
โ€ข Old Latin could be written from right to left (as were Etruscan and early Greek) or boustrophedon.

Cultural influences that favors the right-hand people

โ€ข in some religions the left hand is considered to be unclean
โ€ข in French left is gauche (English: lacking ease of manner or tacky, tasteless [not a positive impression])
โ€ข Latin word for left is sinister (English: evil, diabolic)
โ€ข if you're not included, you're left out
โ€ข if an idea comes from nowhere, it comes from left-field
    โ€ข if I'm correct, I'm right
